Breeding History of Pet Golf Balls

As with dogs, all breeds of golf ball were bred from the same family. With dogs it was the wolf, with golf balls it was the common white.

Why breed different golf balls?

  1. To accommodate different playing conditions
  2. To attract a different kind of player to the game

For the keen golfer playing in the frost or snow was no fun, they spent too much time looking for the ball. This led to the breeding of orange golf balls which could be found easily on the white ground. It was then decided that other colour breeds might entice other family members out on to the fairways, so colours like pink and blue were bred. Eventually all the colours present today were bred.

As it turned out this plan didn't work, but it was discovered that, all the new breeds of golf ball needed far less exercise than the common white. Where as the common white needed to travel large distances on a regular basis, the new breeds needed only the occasional roll about on the carpet. This gave rise to the now popular sport of putting. This new sport devoted itself to the new breeds of golf ball and indeed attracted all members of the family. The sport developed from plain putting, into the now popular past time of crazy golf, like you will find at crazy hills putting.

As well as the exercise issue, it was also discovered that the personality of the new breeds of golf ball were all different. The common white was always professional with no playful tendencies. The new breeds all displayed different personalities which made them attractive as pets and not just working golf balls.

Now more and more people wanted to have their own pedigree pet golf ball in their favourite colour and with the appropriate personality. That's when my pet golf ball .com decided to start it's breeding and training program to meet the demands of the general public. From that day things have really taken off as we supply pedigree pet golf balls to individuals all over the world. They all have their own certificate of authenticity with feeding and care instructions.
